11/24 NIGHTTIME UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site today:

-Nick Diaz discussed why he returned to the UFC for a fight with Anderson Silva, saying he essentially managed to get a deal he couldn't refuse from the UFC. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for his comments with further analysis on why his hold out actually worked for him.

-Newly crowned Bellator Champ Will Brooks revealed this week that he entered his fight with Michael Chandler at Bellator 131 with a torn hamstring suffered weeks earlier in training. He also said he never considered pulling out of the fight despite a doctor's recommendation to do just that. Catch his comments with further analysis on the mobile site.

-Joseph Benavidez is mostly pleased with his performance on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 57, though he's bummed he didn't finish Dustin Ortiz. Still, he's sitting near the top of the division, and he's readying himself for whomever the UFC asks him to face next. See his comments on why he's not calling anyone out, along with further thoughts, on our mobile site now.

-Lyoto Machida is expecting to finish C.B. Dollaway next month in their main event fight at UFC Fight Night 58 in Brazil. Head to the mobile site for his thoughts on the bout along with further commentary.

-TUF 19 winner Corey Anderson has gotten another opponent change for UFC 181 next week, as he'll now take on newcomer Justin Jones. Head to the mobile site for more details on the matchup.

-Finally tonight, UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett is joining former Strikeforce announcer Mauro Ranallo in a different endeavor than MMA: pro wrestling commentary. The two will be recording English language commentary for a 13-episode series from New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV. More on them and their involvement on the show on the mobile site.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
