10/27 NIGHTTIME UPDATE
If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site today:
-Jose Aldo took some shots at Conor McGregor after his win over Chad Mendes at UFC 179. He proclaimed himself the King of the featherweight division, Mendes the Prince, and McGregor the joker, while digging in a bit more about McGregor talking too much. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for his comments along with further thoughts on what he had to say.
-Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold talked up the origins of their feud into UFC Fight Night 55 next week, with Bisping blaming Rockhold for being too sensitive about his comments, and Rockhold downplaying Bisping's supposed edge in a training session they had some time ago. Catch the comments from both fighters with additional thoughts on the mobile site.
-Sara McMann called out Miesha Tate last month after Tate defeated Rin Nakai in Japan, and Tate quickly accepted. However, the fight hasn't been made, and Tate's been talked about for a fight with Bethe Correia now as well. McMann thinks the fight's still on the table, and believes it's one Tate should be going through with after saying she was up for the fight. See McMann's comments with further thoughts on the mobile site.
-Phil Davis explained his call out of Anderson Silva after UFC 179 in a post-fight interview. Davis was also, along with Scott Jorgensen, slapped with the lengthiest medical suspension out of the event pending clearance of a hand injury. More on all of that on the mobile site now.
We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
