9/12 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:

-Despite (T)KO losses in three of his last four fights, Alistair Overeem is going to get another fight in the UFC. That's according to UFC President Dana White, who says Overeem remains a top ten heavyweight. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for further thoughts on Overeem's status in the division.

-White also commented this week on the recent idea posited by Joe Rogan that racism may be behind some of the fan backlash against UFC Champ Jon Jones. White disagrees, and doesn't think that race issues play any part. See his comments, with further thoughts on the situation, on the mobile site now.

-In another subject White touched on this week, Georges St-Pierre's theoretical return will bring him a title fight if he wants it. White said if and when the now former Welterweight Champ decides he wants to come back, he can have any fight he wants from them. More of White's comments on St-Pierre with additional thoughts on the mobile site.

-TUF 20 competitor Tecia Torres has gotten some veiled accusations of PED use thrown her way this week after looking less than herself in Wednesday's debut episode, and she fired back at those suggesting such things, including fellow cast member Carla Esparza. That led to Esparza sending a harsh reply, essentially making further allegations without claiming them as her own. See the commnts from both women with further analysis on the mobile site.

-Speaking of TUF 20, our morning poll today asked readers whether or not they're watching or planning to watch this season given the disappointing debut ratings. Perhaps surprisingly, 55% said they watched Wednesday and won't miss an episode. Now, obviously our reader base is more in line with the more than casual fan, and it seems to be that audience the UFC hasn't grabbed for this season.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
