9/12 EVENING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this evening:

-We'll have live round by round coverage of the main card for Bellator 124 tonight, which airs on Spike TV tonight. Follow along by heading to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser.

-Nick Diaz was arrested last weekend on suspicion of DUI, and the UFC has released a statement on the arrest. Get more details on the arrest with further thoughts, along with the UFC's full statement, on our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser.

-Alvin Carter interviewed Emanuel Newton this week ahead of his bout tonight with Joey Beltran. Excerpt: “The past two years, the rise, and becoming a champion have been amazing. There have been a lot of ups and some downs, like not finishing a fight the way I want to, but everything happens for a reason, and the ride has been amazing.” Get the full interview on the mobile site now.

-Brad Walker debuted a new weekly column today, Walker's Weekly Rant, with a rundown on several different subjects in the world of MMA. Excerpt: “What the hell has happened to Alistair Overeem? He is one of the most physically intimidating looking dudes on the planet, but his chin is about as durable as fine china plate ware. This guy has decimated two former UFC heavyweight champions in his UFC run, and lost to three guys who will never hold a belt… anywhere… ever. Is his salary even worth keeping him around?” Head to the mobile site for the full column.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
