11/11 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:

-Luke Rockhold isn't happy that Jacare Souza remains ranked ahead of him in the UFC's official rankings. He feels he's improved greatly since beating Souza in Strikeforce, and feels he deserves consideration as No. 1 contender before his former foe. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for more of his comments with further thoughts on their respective spots.

-Ian McCall this week discussed his body breaking down on him after weigh-ins last week. He says he thought prior to fight week that he'd be fine fighting through the illness without taking any antibiotics, and ultimately that proved to backfire on him. See his comments with additional analysis on the mobile site now.

-Mark Hunt is hoping to take full advantage of his opportunity this weekend at UFC 180, but even if he beats Fabricio Werdum, he says he won't yet consider himself a champion. He feels he can't earn that distinction until he beats Cain Velasquez, but that's exactly what he hopes to do in the next year. Catch his thoughts with additional commentary on the mobile site.

-In our morning poll, we asked readers if their opinion of Luke Rockhold's title contender status had changed given the ease with which he defeated Michael Bisping. 38% admit they didn't think it would come that easily for him, 22% were overly impressed and think he should get the shot now. Another 15% felt he deserved the title shot even before the fight, while 25% think it's a lateral move that shouldn't bring him a title bout.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
