TUESDAY 6/3 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this afternoon:

-UFC Featherweight Champ Jose Aldo wasn't amused by a little jab Team Alpha Male took at his teammate Renan Barao after UFC 173, and he'll be looking for some payback when he takes on Team Alpha Male's Chad Mendes at UFC 176 in August. See his comments on Barao's loss and his reaction to the slight joke at Barao's expense in the main listing at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser.

-Tyron Woodley isn't pleased with the UFC's decision to make Robbie Lawler vs. Matt Brown a No. 1 contender fight, as he took the UFC 174 bout with Rory MacDonald in MacDonald's home country because he was led to believe a title shot could come with a win. He's hoping his UFC 174 performance can launch him into the discussion, and is choosing to believe the title shot promises are all in the air and just added motivation from the UFC to the fighters. See his comments with further analysis in the main listing.

-Ratings are in for “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3” Finale, and it's the lowest rated main card on Fox Sports 1 this year at just 609,000 viewers. It's not surprising, coming at the tail end of a very long day of fights, featuring one of the worst TV headliners in ages, and featuring a number of fighters with no resonance with the UFC's audience in the U.S. More thoughts on the numbers, and a comparison to the other main cards on FS1 this year, in the main listing now.

-In our morning poll, we asked whether or not readers were still interested in the fight that was supposed to happen Saturday between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos. 76% of respondents still want to see that fight, and only 10% think there are even better options for both fighters. Get your votes in now!

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
