1/9 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:

-UFC Lightweight Champ Anthony Pettis gave a critical take on the skills of potential 2015 challenger Khabib Nurmagomedov, and said that compared to where his own wrestling game is at, Nurmagomedov's striking is “amateur.” Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for more of Pettis' rundown along with further analysis.

-Dan Henderson, who hasn't hid his feelings about UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Jon Jones, took aim at him due to Jones entering rehab this week, getting in some shots at the Champ's expense. That included his line on why he felt staying away from cocaine may be the reason for his longevity. Get his comments with further analysis on the mobile site now.

-Rampage Jackson says his goal in returning to the UFC is to get some exciting matchups and add more knockouts to his highlight reel. He also commented on why he had been upset at getting booked against wrestlers when he left the UFC in the first place. Catch those comments with further analysis on the mobile site now.

-In our morning poll, we asked readers whether or not they were actually interested in seeing a third Anderson Silva-Chris Weidman fight if the UFC booked it this year. Votes were pretty split, with 42% very interested because Silva broke his leg in the last fight, another 26% tentatively on board depending on how he beats Diaz if that happens, and the last 32% saying there were more interesting fights available for Weidman.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we61 have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
