11/4 NIGHTTIME UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site today:

-In a new roundtable today, the crew ponders what fight the UFC should go with in the event Vitor Belfort fails a pre-fight drug test into the February fight with Chris Weidman. Excerpt from Rich Hansen: “If Vitor Belfort fails a drug test between now and February, the fight should be postponed and held once he is able to pass a test. The UFC wants to see Vitor defeat their undefeated All-American champion who has twice beaten the greatest fighter of all time in Anderson Silva. This way they can set up Belfort vs. Silva 2 followed an eventual Weidman title rematch. The UFC can't competitively sell Weidman vs. Silva 3, which is the big money fight in this division, unless of course Silva has the belt around his waist. Why else would Belfort not be subjected to hourly drug tests? Just follow the dollar signs, Baby. Too cynical? Fine. Jacare, of course.”

-We've got a new MMATorch Livecast episode available now at BlogTalkRadio.com/MMATorch, where Shawn Ennis joins me to discuss the week in MMA. Head there now to listen in to the new 90 minute conversation.

-Ronda Rousey was really hoping to return by Jan. 3, so she's not thrilled with the fact that her fight with Cat Zingano was pushed back to Feb. 28. However, she takes some consolation in the fact that her fight is now at the Staples Center, a venue in which she says she's dreamed of competing. Catch her comments with further thoughts on the mobile site now.

-A featherweight bout between Rony Jason and Tom Niinimaki is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 58 event in Brazil this December. Head to the mobile site for more details on the bout.

-Michael Chandler feels the injuries he was dealing with into the first fight with Will Brooks played the biggest part in his loss, and he expects to finish the rematch in the early portion of the fight. Catch his thoughts on the matchup on the mobile site now.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
